Presented by the Collaborative Practice Training Institute (CPTI)
March 1-4, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
Course Description: This course is an intensive four-day, 30-hour training designed to engage participants in identifying, developing and honing the interest-based negotiation and mediation skills required for professionals to satisfy the training requirements established by the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). The course will focus on core concepts such as tuning-in to what clients need, want, feel and require; identifying the practitioner’s own approaches to conflict and personal interactions with others professionally and personally; and exploring skills related to neutral collaborative advocacy. Demonstrations and role-plays will be used as tools to enable participants to view and experience the various skills addressed during the four-day training.
